To create intimate musical encounters in America's wild spaces, where classical music emerges naturally from the landscape, inviting both intentional listeners and serendipitous discoverers to experience the profound connection between art and nature through journey-based performances.
In 2019, I performed a solo recital in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The audience hiked to reach me, and as the music merged with nature's sounds, something magical happened. That experience showed me how powerful these intimate encounters could be- where music doesn't just exist in nature, but becomes part of it.
Your donation can help us continue to provide concerts throughout America's State and National Parks. Your contribution helps us achieve our mission to create a world where music and nature are one.

Our mission at Wild Notes is to create intimate musical encounters in America's wild spaces, where classical music emerges naturally from the landscape, inviting both intentional listeners and serendipitous discoverers to experience the profound connection between art and nature through journey-based performances.
Wild Notes was founded in 2025 as a concert series initiative, with the goal of formalizing as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit in 2025/2026.
Wild Notes operates from Houston, TX, with concerts taking place in Texas State and National Parks and Forests. Our goal is to expand to host concerts in locations all across America's beautiful landscapes.
Concerts are located along hiking trails and camp sites in our nation's beautiful parks and forests, open to planned audiences as well as passing hikers. Anyone and everyone is welcome!
Wild Notes concerts are free to attend, with donations gladly accepted. Your donations help to fund our concerts and to bring classical music experiences to unexpected places, while promoting environmental stewardship.
We kindly ask that Wild Notes audiences follow all rules and regulations posted by the hosting park or forest, and follow a leave-no-trace philosophy; do not leave trash at the concert site or disrupt the nature around you.
Wild Notes is committed to responsible stewardship of public lands. Our performances cause no disruption to wildlife, leave no trace on the environment, and encourage deeper appreciation of America's national treasures.
Wild Notes was founded by cellist Mandy Guilfoyle in Houston, TX in 2025 and is run by Mandy in addition to her sister and professional photographer, Allie Milliot, who resides in Seminole, FL.
Wild Notes is always open to hearing from professional musicians who are interested in hosting their own solo concert in the wilderness, or those who are passionate about our mission and would like to get involved or support the organization in other ways. Just send us an email at hello@wildnotes.org.
